Hello! My name is Mark Miller and I am a student-athlete at Millersville University. I am extremely interested in the health and wellness of the human body. All of my life I have been involved in sports and other activities, and when I got into college I really took an interest in nutrition. Being your healthiest self requires the perfect balance between physical activity and the things that you put into your body.

My Freshman year on campus at Millersville, I was playing in a baseball game and tore a tendon in my shoulder. The recovery was long and difficult, and I was having a hard time staying active throughout the process of getting back on the field. I knew that I would need to stay in the best shape that I could, so I ended up having a conversation with our Universities nutritionist Dr. Julie Ann Lombardi. Dr. Lombardi gave me a diet to ensure that I stayed in tip-top shape. I learned so much about nutrition that I had never known before, and realized that I needed to share with others my journey.

In this blog, I hope to inspire other athletes and anyone who enjoys living a healthy lifestyle. I will share the experiences and challenges I’ve faced, nutrition tips I’ve learned, and workouts to assist those who are interested in being fit!
